2010 4 Way Test Speech Competition

The Club hosted is annual 4 Way Test Speech Competition this week. We’re grateful to Ms. Carolyn Jeffers, english and speech teacher at Ashland High School for her coordinating the effort at AHS. The club awarded each winner with a medallion and a cash stipend. 1st Place – ($125) Aaron Smart ’11; 2nd Place – ($100) Alexys McQuillen- ’12; and 3rd Place – ($75) Karleigh Uhl- ’12. Congratulations to all three students for a job well done.  Special thanks to Mrs. Ruth Detrow for chairing the overall effort.

this week 1.12.10

this week the club meet at the salvation army’s kroc center. we heard an update from the interact club at the career center. todd imhoff of buehler’s market presented an informative program on the store’s history and on current trends in the grocery store market. you can find them on facebook here. he gave each attendee a fashion designer shopping bag as a gift.
