DSCN0003The Ashland Interact Club is comprised of students who attend the Ashland County West Holmes Career Center.  They meet every Tuesday @8:15am in the Green Room.  Their effort is led by Community School Liasion Mrs. Deb Gilson.

The purpose of an Interact Club is to: LEAD-SERVE-CONNECT-INTERACT!

For youth ages 14-18, Interact is an opportunity to

* Make new friends
* Improve your community
* Develop leadership skills
* Make a difference in the world

By joining an Interact Club students will develop leadership skills while helping others. Interact clubs are self-governing and financially independent, making it possible to choose and carry out service projects that you care about.

Interact clubs carry out two community service projects each year, including one that furthers international understanding and goodwill.

Interactors are donating relief supplies to victims of natural disasters, organizing fundraisers to purchase books for needy schools, and volunteering their time and energy in the community.

With more than 250,000 Interactors in over 120 countries and geographical areas, Interact is a worldwide phenomenon!
